+1 Bite Per Click Boosts: What 2x Cash and 2x Bite Do
The two temporary boosts in +1 Bite Per Click double your selling cash or your chewing progress for 15 or 30 minutes. Learn when the timer starts, how to confirm a boost is running, and why availability rotates.
In +1 Bite Per Click, a boost is a timed multiplier, not a permanent upgrade. Two types are documented: the 2x Cash Boost doubles the cash you receive while selling looted items, and the 2x Bite Boost makes every chomp during its window count twice toward a stronger jaw. Both run for 15 or 30 minutes, and the countdown starts the moment the boost is redeemed — whether or not you are selling or chewing at that moment. That makes timing the decisive skill: trigger the window just before the action it doubles.
What each boost multiplies
| Boost | What it modifies | Recorded durations |
|---|---|---|
| 2x Cash Boost | Doubles the cash earned while selling looted items | 15 minutes; 30 minutes; a "Super 2x Cash" variant at 30 minutes |
| 2x Bite Boost | Every chomp in the window counts twice toward a stronger jaw | 15 minutes; 30 minutes |
| Lucky Block (Secret, Ethereal, Divine) | A one-shot crate that pops out a random item — not a timed multiplier | Single use |
The durations come from code reward records dated September–October 2026, which usually deliver a boost bundled with one Lucky Block crate rather than as a standing multiplier. The crate and the multiplier are separate rewards: guides call the crate "a one-shot... so open it when you can actually use whatever pops out," while the two multipliers reward planning. Their advice: start the bite boost "when you are already chewing, because every chomp in that window counts twice toward a stronger jaw," and save the cash boost for "right after a looting session, when selling a fat stack would normally take ages" to fund your next teeth.
One caution on availability: these names describe effects, not a guarantee you can get them right now. The same 30-minute 2x Cash and 2x Bite rewards appear in a September 2026 working list and in October 2026 expired lists, so boost availability rotates with code rewards. Which codes are live is tracked on the Codes page — this page explains what a boost does once you have it.
How a boost activates and when the timer starts
Boosts arrive as code rewards. The codes button sits at the top right of the screen, and when a boost reward goes through, an on-screen confirmation line appears — for example, "Redeemed: 15 minutes of 2x Cash!". That line is your activation signal, and the timer starts at redemption, not when you next sell or bite. As one guide puts it: "The 2x Cash window is on a timer, so you want it running before you sell anything valuable."
So the practical rhythm is: loot first, grab a full inventory, then start a cash window and sell inside it (see how money and selling work) — or settle into heavy chewing and start a bite window so every chomp lands during the doubled period. Redeeming a boost at a random moment simply burns part of its 15 or 30 minutes on whatever you were already doing.
How to tell a boost is actually running
Recorded playthroughs show the two signs to check before you rely on a window:
- A visible countdown. One player tracks "1 minute and 24 seconds left" and times the trip back to the seller so the sale lands before it hits zero.
- A doubled payout at the sell point. The same session confirms it in the proceeds: "Oh, we are getting double right now, aren't we?"
If you have redeemed a boost but can see no countdown and your sales pay out normally, don't plan a big selling or chewing run around it — verify first, then act.
Storms: a temporary multiplier that isn't a reward
At least one multiplier appears without redeeming anything. One recorded session shows a cold storm event "giving double wall damage" — walls visibly breaking far faster — lasting "only 10 minutes," with the player also noticing money doubling during the same window. Treat this as a world-event bonus you can act on when it's live: break walls and gather loot fast, then sell within the window. It is a single-session observation, though, with no documented trigger or schedule — so don't plan around storms, just capitalize when one starts.
What isn't documented
A few questions have no supported answer yet, and each affects a decision:
- Stacking. No source says whether consecutive timed boosts stack or whether there's a cap — so don't assume a second boost adds or extends time.
- The exact stat behind 2x Bite. The effect is described only as chomps "counting twice toward a stronger jaw"; whether it multiplies wall damage, training gains or both isn't specified.
- Other sources. Boosts are documented from code rewards and the storm event; no in-game purchase route is described anywhere.
Before relying on any boost, check that its effect matches what you plan to do — selling cash for 2x Cash, jaw progress for 2x Bite (see bite strength) — confirm the countdown is visible, and spend the whole window on that one action.
