+1 Bite Per Click Inventory: Carry Limits, Full Bags and Selling Loot

See how +1 Bite Per Click tracks carried loot, what the Inventory full callout means, and how selling at the spawn point frees bag space again.

In +1 Bite Per Click, everything you bite loose from a wall rides home in the same small bag. Carried loot is held against a slot-based inventory limit — roughly three items when you start, more once you upgrade your backpack — and the moment you hit that cap, pickup stops until you sell. Freeing space never changes: walk back or Teleport to spawn, sell your haul at the sell point, and head out with empty slots again.

One caveat up front: exactly where the game displays stored items on screen isn't settled enough to describe a specific bag menu here. What you can act on is just as useful — the count you keep while looting, the "Inventory full" callout at the cap, and the sell loop that resets it. For where loot comes from in the first place, see the loot guide.

How carrying loot works

Every pickup during a run takes one of your limited slots, so the count is something you track as you play. One first-time player worked it out mid-run — "maybe I can only carry three items at a time" — and headed back to sell after roughly that many pickups. Early on, that's the practical way to manage the bag: count your pickups and plan the trip home around them.

Loot isn't the only thing that lands there. Items granted outside wall-looting go to your inventory too — a redeemed code's Divine Lucky Block "lands in your inventory, ready to open." Active strings are kept on the codes page.

Upgrades raise the limit. One player bought a backpack upgrade specifically "so that we can carry four items," then later in the same run: "Let's upgrade my bag for carrying items. Alright, now I can take nine items at once." A different, mid-game player counted his space in slots: "we have eight slots." Those are individual runs rather than a fixed ladder — the Carry Capacity upgrade page has the level details.

What happens when the bag fills

Collecting stops at the cap. Picking up one item too many brings up an "Inventory full" callout — one player hit it on his fourth pickup and immediately turned back toward the sell point, and a late-game player found his bag "full" mid-loot and went straight home. Another announced "We are maxed out" while looting and took no further pickups.

If Auto Play is running, a full bag stalls the entire loop: your character keeps running and breaking walls, but it can no longer pick up the loot boxes — which is exactly why Carry Capacity matters so much to idle farming.

Freeing space: the sell loop at spawn

  1. Recognize the cap — the "Inventory full" callout appears, or pickups simply stop landing.
  2. Return to spawn — walk back on foot or use Teleport to spawn: "Teleport to spawn. Sell them over here."
  3. Sell at the sell station — it stands near the upgrade machine, and new players mix them up: "Wait, this is to upgrade, bro. Selling is over here." Sell items one by one or clear everything at once ("Sell everything. I said sell all."). Each item pays its own cash value — in one early run, a metal piece brought $20, a plastic duck $18 and a fire extinguisher $1.
  4. Head back out — the slots are free again: "Sold them and let's head back."

Selling at the spawn sell point is the standing way to clear the bag, and the same full-then-sell cycle repeats through every stage of the game. The selling walkthrough covers the sell point and sale values in more detail.

Managing space between trips

  • Choose pickups deliberately. Near the cap, players skip items rather than waste slots — one declined a spawn because "I'm losing space" — and low-value items get grabbed grudgingly, mainly so "someone else" can't take them. The loot rarities page helps you judge which tiers deserve the trip.
  • Raise the cap. Backpack and Carry Capacity upgrades mean fewer sell trips: as the progression guide puts it, "Carry Capacity stops you from having to run back to the sell point every few walls."
  • Shorten the trip itself. Walkspeed upgrades cut the travel time between stages, so each sell loop costs you less playtime — see the walkspeed guide.

Quick answers

How many items can you carry at the start?

Roughly three, judging by one new player's count — treat it as an early ballpark rather than a confirmed number, since his first backpack upgrade moved him to four items and a later one to nine.

What does "Inventory full" mean?

Your bag has hit its slot cap and new pickups stop until you sell. If Auto Play is on, the whole collect-and-sell loop stalls until the bag is emptied.

How do you empty a full bag?

Sell. Teleport to spawn or walk back, use the sell station — Sell All included — then head back out with free slots.

Do code rewards take up inventory?

They land in it — a redeemed Lucky Block goes straight to your inventory, "ready to open." Grab current codes from the codes page before your next run.
