+1 Bite Per Click Rebirths: Requirements, Resets, and Rewards
Check the level gate, see exactly what a rebirth wipes and what stays, and weigh the multiplier and cash payouts before you confirm your next reset.
Rebirth in +1 Bite Per Click is a trade you make on purpose. The gate is a level requirement — level 25 for the first rebirth in recorded runs, then 76, and higher on every later one — and confirming the reset wipes your trained Bite Strength, drops you back to level 1 and takes the cash you are holding. In return, your bite-power multiplier steps up (gains of 1.5x and 3.5x have been recorded), some rebirths pay a one-time cash sum on top, and your total rebirth count unlocks milestone rewards such as a 4x bite at five rebirths.
You see all of this before it happens. The rebirth prompt displays the rewards you would receive and pairs the Rebirth button with a Skip Rebirth option, so you can back out without resetting anything.
The figures below were read off recorded runs at different times and may not match the current build. The requirement shown on your own rebirth prompt is the value that matters — always read it before confirming.
Where rebirth happens
The clearest access point is the sell point at spawn: the same prompt that lets you cash out loot offers the Rebirth button alongside Skip Rebirth and previews your rewards first. A rebirth panel is also reachable from the menu/shop area, and one recorded panel lists the items you will get from rebirthing, so you can preview the payout there too.
Rebirth requirements
Rebirth is level-gated. The client names the level you must reach before the next rebirth unlocks, and the threshold climbs each time:
| Rebirth occasion | Level gate observed | Run note |
|---|---|---|
| First | 25 | one player confirmed at 28; level reset to 1 right after |
| Second | 76 | the client stated "we need level 76" |
| A later rebirth | around 100 | eligible at 100 but postponed to keep farming items |
| A later rebirth | 126 | executed; a 3.5x gain followed |
| Sixth | 151 | announced in advance as the sixth-rebirth gate |
| Ninth | 226 | read on screen in a separate late-world run |
These thresholds come from three separate sessions, and some are narrated readings rather than clean UI captures, so treat them as a pattern rather than a current table. No recorded rebirth required paying cash — every gate seen was a level requirement.
What resets and what stays
Confirmed resets:
- Bite Strength — your trained bite power is wiped and has to be rebuilt.
- Level — you drop back to level 1; one player watched it happen immediately after rebirthing from level 28.
- Held cash — the money you are carrying is gone. One runner delayed rebirthing specifically because "we're going to lose all of our money," and another described rebirth as resetting his points and chose to farm rare items first.
Confirmed retention (one tested case):
- Carried inventory items survived. A creator rebirthed while holding an Earth divine item and verified afterward that it was still in his inventory. That is a single test with a single item, not a proven rule for every item class.
Unverified:
- Purchased upgrades — bites, auras, walk speed and carry capacity. The same creator asked on camera "do we lose our upgrades if we just rebirth?" and never tested it. Don't assume either direction; treat an expensive purchase just before a rebirth as a risk until you have seen it persist yourself.
The practical takeaway: since held cash is wiped anyway, spend it on things you actually want before confirming — one runner rebirthed only after checking there was nothing useful left to buy.
What rebirth pays you
- A higher bite multiplier. A recorded first rebirth raised biting power by 1.5x, and a later rebirth performed at level 126 raised it by 3.5x.
- One-time cash on some rebirths. A late-world runner read a one-time 10 billion payout on a ninth rebirth, and a different runner chained rebirths one after another for about 250 trillion each, watching his cash balloon.
- Count-gated milestones. Rewards checked against your total rebirth count have been observed at five (a 4x bite entry), at nine, and — for entry to the second world — at 23 rebirths, which one runner with eleven called very hard.
Not every recorded rebirth showed both a multiplier step and cash: the ninth-rebirth runner noted his clicks stayed the same after collecting the one-time payout. Whether every rebirth grants a lasting multiplier, and whether gains add up or replace each other per tier, isn't documented. This is exactly why the prompt's preview matters — it shows what the specific rebirth in front of you pays before you commit.
The loop after a reset
- Rebuild strength on the bite multiplier platforms. Strength climbs far faster there than out in the open, and on-screen prompts nudge you toward the next upgrade. More on the stat itself in the bite strength guide.
- Let playtime rewards run. They accumulate on their own and hand over loot boxes you can open between rebirths for extra items to sell.
- Chain the next rebirth while its requirement is still cheap relative to what you're holding. With a large reserve you can rebirth back to back — one creator spam-rebirthed off a single click and went from rebirth 8 to 11 in one sitting, and the written guide calls 11 in a sitting realistic after a huge sale. Active codes also speed up the rebuild between resets.
Deciding on your next rebirth
Signals from recorded runs:
- Nothing left worth buying? That is when one runner pulled the trigger.
- Mid-run momentum matters more? A player at level 100 skipped an available rebirth because rebuilding afterward would stall his item runs.
- Just landed a big windfall? After a large sale, chaining rebirths while each next requirement stays cheap relative to your holdings is how runners stack several resets in one session.
- Unsure? Skip Rebirth postpones the reset without committing to anything.
Before you confirm, run this checklist:
- Read the level requirement and reward preview on the rebirth prompt — that is the current truth for your build.
- Spend held cash on upgrades you want; it disappears with the reset.
- Assume Bite Strength and your level are gone. Carried loot survived the one recorded test, but upgrade retention is unverified.
- Not ready? Use Skip Rebirth and keep farming.
There is no documented "best" number of rebirths to chase — gates, payouts and milestones all scale with your count, so judge each prompt on its own trade-off. For the broader upgrade order from day one, see the noob-to-master walkthrough.
